Let's Do This...

Step 1: Put your iTunes/OTHER MUSIC PLAYER on random.
Step 2: Post the first line or two from the first 25 songs that play.
Step 3: Bold out the songs when someone guesses correctly. (make guesses by commenting on the entry)
Step 4: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!!!

So instead of going to class, which I already know what's going on, I decided to spend that time being a bit more productive. I've been researching information for what classes are required for a major in economics. From what I've found out, if I am able to transfer into the College of Management, I would have 53 out of 120 hrs completed if I got a BA in economics or I would have 57 out of 120 hrs. if I went to the BS side in economics; which is actually 4-8 more than I have right now for Mechanical Engineering. BA is more for the fine arts and BS is more for the science.

After much time planning out courses to take, I've decided I need some semesters/classes to boost this piece of shit I call a GPA back up. COM (college of management for short) requires a transfer to have a GPA of 3.0 and basic math and english classes completed (which I have). I'm going to take between 9 hrs over the summer and then churn out 16 hrs for the next semester.

Classes and Times I'm Shooting For )

I hope I'm doing the right thing...

Yeah as the title states, it's almost 9pm and I think I'm still hungover. Last night was so much fun, I hope everyone who came enjoyed it as well. It's amazing how much more interesting the night can get when a 3X7 piece of plywood is involved haha.

So now I'm off to finish packing up my stuff and probably head to bed soon. We'll be leaving around 4-5am. I hope everyone's spring break is enjoyable and hopefully I'll be on LJ once or twice to see what's up. Alright take care.

Alright I think I just bored the hell out of you; so I'll just end it. If you do not have any plans on Thursday, you should come out to my game (hopefully it will not be my last). I could use the extra fan support lol.

Dear Coach Chuck Amato,

I hate you with a passion. How can you give UNC their first ACC win of the year and their first win against a division I-A team. You were a 4 point favorite to win and you lose 9 - 23. It doesn't make sense; how can you beat teams like Boston College and Florida State (being an underdog by at least 10 points in each game) but you can't beat a team like carolina (no offense, it's just...C'MON)? Your coaching is flawed, your game plan was flawed, your defense wasn't what it should have been, and your offensive line gives our quarterback no time to let the play develop. Why is it when its time to make a big play late in the game, the offensive line always buckles and our quarterback gets sacked...or worse. I hope you never coach again under our school's name. Enjoy an off-season full of criticism and fans yelling for your head.

Signed,
The Wolfpack Nation

I just need to see who will be driving tomorrow and need to know times that we all can get together. I am free after 2:45pm to go. Others I don't know about; so if you are going, let me know what's up. As for people driving, we have 3 parking passes. I'm sure Megan will be driving one, Jess said she can drive as well, and I think John can too? If these people cannot for a reason or another, we'll find someone can and worse case senario, I'll drive if need be. I'm making this public so those on AIM can see this and respond. It seems like we will about 10 people tailgating with us (Myself, Jess, Megan, Andy, Terry, John, Toni Ann, Chris, Nikki, and Swetha?) but if so I need to know for a fact who and when everyone will be ready. I know classes will conflict times; just leave a comment, leave an IM, or just call me so I can try to organize this...thx.

It's finally here. I have my new car and it is so fucking sweet.

Specs from what I know off the top of my head:
Year: 2006
Model: Honda Civic DX Sedan
Exterior Color: Galaxy Gray
Interior Color: Gray
Number of Miles: 24!
Miles/Gallon: 30 City / 40 Highway
1.4 Liter
140 Horsepower
4 Cylinder I Block
Automatic Transmission
VSC and ABS

Here is a site that shows the basic look of it. When you click on it, click the middle of the top row of colors for mine.

http://automobiles.honda.com/models/exterior_colors.asp?ModelName=Civic+Sedan

All I know is that it is awesome, so I'm going to have to take much better care of this than I did my camry. Plus instead of paying for car insurance, I'll have to be paying for the car itself. Lets just say that money for me will be extra tight for a little bit lol. But I think it is well worth it. Alright I'm off to play some guitar and relax my day away tomorrow.

Windy
Your forecast: 52°F, 48 mph wind, 26% chance of precipitation
What your score means:

Please note that all variables are scaled to a range of 0 to 100. I'd like to present some of them differently, but the OkCupid system doesn't seem to allow independent scaling of variables.

Category names are not meant to be taken literally. They are only weather patterns that match your score for the three variables. A person might be classified as "hurricane" because he/she is outgoing, athletic and compassionate; it does not relate to any destructive behavior by any means.

  • Temperature measures your relationships with other fellow humans. A high temperature means you are caring and compassionate, and you tend to keep a personal touch with all your friends. A low temperature means you are more independent, and although you may like to hang out with your friends, personal life rarely enters the picture.

  • Wind measures your level of energy. A low wind says you are usually calm and composed, somewhat introverted, and perhaps do not prefer intense physical activities. A high wind says you are energetic, extroverted, and tend to lead an active lifestyle. Higher wind can also mean greater ambitions in life. In extreme cases and especially when coupled with high precipitation, high wind might suggest a tendency toward violence.

  • Precipitation measures your mood. A sunny sky, as you might guess, is associated with a bright, optimistic mood. People like this tend to be satisfied with their lives, and might take the effort to help make other people's lives better as well. A rainy sky would be the opposite: people in this category tend to be moody or depressed at times.

So, What do you think? Do the scores seem fair to you? If not, you can help make it better by sending me a message with your comments, suggestions, rants, death threats, whatever. Otherwise, your vote is very much appreciated. Thanks!

Just to inform, like last time, that I will be making another park run at some point during the day tomorrow. I'm thinking again of lake johnson or umstead park. Probably around the 12-1pm area, maybe a bit later...who knows. Those who are interested, leave a comment or just call so I would know if anyone is coming or if it will be just me.

2005-2006 NHL Playoffs )

That's just the picture of the basic seedings and match-ups for the first round. Lets just hope the Canes make it far and that we start it off by winning Game 1 (since a few of us got tickets!). We ended up finishing with 52 wins, 22 losses, and 8 overtime losses to give us 112 points, which makes us 2nd in the conference and 4th overall in the league. Now, all we need is 16 more wins to take the cup...
